Wow, we are applying logic to the Bible? This won't end well.
Conversely, perhaps you won't end well. 😇

Depends on how you define logic. Take golf logic for example.

It's like asking the question "Why does a golf course have 18 holes?".

The most common answer you will almost invariably arrive at is "Well, the Old Course at St. Andrews used to be 22 holes but then they combined four shorter holes into two.". Many who hear it will spread this answer to others who ask.

But some who hear it will stop for a second to think {"22 - 4 + 2 = 20 ... wait a second"} and say "The maths doesn't work.". So someone else will say "Well, not just 'combine 4 into 2' it was the first four holes combined into two holes and the last four holes combined into two holes so four combined into two twice.". And now the maths work which satisfies first level skeptics who will spread this answer without ever wondering "Why 22?".

Armies aren't populated with thinkers.

Reminds me of a night a buddy and I were playing pool against 2 strippers.

I was shooting the 8-ball, and 1 of them hiked up her skirt and opened up her pussy over the corner pocket!!

I still made the shot, and we ended up banging them that night.
