*Looks* like a type 1 VW......very difficult to tell.
*Looks* like the dipstick hole, but water is suspiciously clean and clear.

There is no backing plate on most trucks with air brakes, and the anchor is right where it should be. There are springs on both sides of the shoe to hold it in place. On the end with the S-cam and rollers there is one large spring in the middle.
I see two things missing the drum and the wheel speed sensor for the ABS.
What color should the water be in an air cooled engine?
That has to be somewhere around here!

Type 1 dipstick tube is correct. Here’s a clear view from mine when it was being rebuilt
As God fully intended it to be.
If that shit works, you wouldn't even be able to pick up the bottle.
It looks like a late style gas cylinder lock.
Well, air is clear.Wouldn't that depend on the type coolant used?
Perhaps south of Pecan Island....That has to be somewhere around here!
