My sister and daughter have celiac disease. They are medically diagnosed and show damage to the lining of the small intestine. I am thankful for those that are gluten free and whine about it as that has vastly broadened the selection of gluten free foods and even restaurants. It sucks when we travel trying to find a place to eat.

I think it was on this thread a while agoI think I seen this somewhere before. It was a fully involved house fire that was a total loss for the homeowner, including the gun safe and it's contents shown here, wasn't it? And if memory serves me, he shared that photo with the maker of a thermal resistant safe to show what can happen to even a regular multiple layer reinforced safe when it is subjected to thermal assault at over 3000°F over a period of hours during a fire.
Fire insurance = Essential
Constant precautions and safety checks for home, garage, vehicle etc... = Priceless.

Happend to me and a couple of buddies coming home from an Ozzy Osborne concert early 90s. We saw him enter our lanes, Eastbound, (four lane Interstate 76) at Hudson, Co. My buddy was driving and immediately started flashing him but he ignored us. My buddy exited and then entered going back the way we came, on the correct side, in an attempt to get the wrong way driver's attention. We caught up to him and started to try and get his attention to no avail. At one point my buddy crossed the median and got behind him and flashed him trying to get him to stop. Didn't work. We got our friend driving to cross back over the median to get back on the correct side and moved out in front of the wrong way driver by ¼ mile or so and started flashing all the other driver's coming down the interstate in an attempt to warn them. Luckily it was after midnight on a weeknight and there wasn't a lot of oncoming cars. We continued to flash oncoming driver's for about 10-15 miles but were getting very concerned because we were headed towards Denver and much more traffic. About the area that highway 85 merges to I-76 a state trooper was coming toward us and the wrong way driver with his lights going. The trooper attempted to play "chicken" with the wrong way driver and ended up having to swerve out of the way at the last minute as the wrong way driver wouldn't yield. The trooper flipped around and began to follow the wrong way driver also driving the wrong way on I-76. The trooper got right on the driver's tail by just a few feet with no luck getting the wrong way driver to stop. Eventually the trooper got in front of the wrong way driver and began to slow and the wrong way driver would slow with him eventually stopping on the interstate. We stopped as well and watched the trooper run up to the wrong way driver and whip his door open and reach in to pull the driver out. We were kinda surprised when the trooper gently pulled this really old man and his cane out and gently put him into his cruiser. All the time cars continuing to come down the interstate at them. We yelled out to the trooper as he was getting into the wrong way driver's car to pull it off the interstate to see if he wanted a statement from us and he just told us "no!". We just left and turned around at the next exit to return back to home. It was very intense wondering if one of the cars we were trying to warn would end up in a head on collision. Glad to say all ended well and no one was hurt.I did that once in Alamogordo years ago!
