what kind are they? Reason I ask, is I have a 1882 Remington 10 guage. You can tell it from the newer 1885 by tne shape of the cocking hammers.. My great grandfather bought it in Elk River, MN in 1885

Must be about 10 years ago now, at our old house. My dog that just died of cancer a couple years ago. He hated fireworks and one morning after new years he kept coming and jumping in bed with us, wanting attention then jumping down and trotting out of the room. The third time I hear a noise
and splat
. He made it through the hall around corner into the living room just past the floor heater. About 20% of that splat went in the floor heater and it kicked on just as i walked out to see what the noise and splat were. He is looking all guilty, like sorry but I told ya. Some of the worst things are some of the funniest memories. 
the smell, oh the smell. Even after all the cleaning for years the first time the heater was on for year you would get a hint of it. 
They are cool looking shotguns, but heavier around the barrels than my ten guage.
Meanwhile in Ireland that are fed up with their migrant crisis.
