That's the thing with tanks, when you have an oops big enough for anyone to notice, it's big enough for EVERYONE to notice.


That "seismic test" in the video was pretty good, I'll give the kid credit for being pretty damn accurate at that speed and pace. At this point in my life I'd have missed every mark, coughed up a pack of smokes still in the wrapper, lost consciousness, and thrown a piss bottle at my "buddies" when I woke up.

Oh, I get it. Yes, same thing - namely failure of the canopy, either due to failure to deploy, or in this case, severe overload. So, instead of a big canopy, you get a streamer of cloth. I was just saying that I bet that would have been quite interesting to witness - drag chutes deploy, tank goes out the back, then plunges straight down, drag chutes suddenly over-filled like a balloon about to burst, then sudden failure at the weakest point and the canopy becomes a streamer. Of course, they could have just held together for the length of the short ride to the ground, but where's the fun in that? It's not good that it happened, but if I had a link to a youtube video posted here, you know you'd click on it!

Bones are overlapped even more today. Really pulling the shoulder towards the chest. Can feel the upper end of the bone poking into the meat but oddly enough it's intermittent kinda like getting stabbed with an ice pick. Starting to like it. Only 5 more days till Benihana does his thing. Can't wait. Ready for a change of healing pain instead of this waiting thing. All good. You could say I'm "motivated".
