And, if you are a fan, you probably already know about him being a pilot on heavies;

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bruce_Dickinson

Definitely. He also pilots Iron Maiden's jet: "Ed Force One". There's some great videos of him as a pilot, including one where he took an Airbus up to play around with (He's a Boeing driver) and the Iron Maiden documentary "Flight 666" where he flew a charter flight full of Iron Maiden fans from London to Germany for a show IIRC. I had no chance keeping up with him talking aircraft, but my brother is a plane buff, so he carried our half of that discussion. When the talk transitioned to military armor I was in my element and we debated main battle tanks of the world for hours.

Nobody said yes butt we gonna do this anyways, enjoy fellers.

Please, please, please, for the love of God, just STOP !

(I know, I'm just feeding the animals.......but this is just more than a mere mortal should have to put up with. Fuk).

Is this the .25 auto? I had one for a while. Fold up an 8-1/2" X 11" paper and tuck it, and this, in your shirt pocket...

it was fun, neat etc. but not much good at anything other than starting conversations. It went down the road years ago.

I think that's the .22 short. With a Werbell on it... it's dead nuts silent. Not quite as good as a Welrod because the slide makes noise. But quiet. Real quiet!

Cheers,

Sirhr

I worked that show as a Stagehand.....made some BIG BUCKS. The loudest band I ever saw was Kansas in the Paramount/Seattle, probably about '77. We were in the back of the house, main floor and man, it was painful. Everything was clear/undistorted, but incredibly loud. ZZ Top was always supposed to be the loudest, but Kansas had 'em beat.

J; Here's something from ACDC, just for your listening pleasure;

Best concert ever.....?........1978, Willy Nelsons 4th of July Picnic, Arrowhead stadium, Kansas City:
Grateful Dead, Willy Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Jeff Walker, Jessie Colter, Missouri.

Dead Heads, Cowboys, Rednecks.......What more could you want......

Crosby,Stills, Nash and Young was pretty good as well, but that's another story......

Wow! No kidding! Never saw Willie......Regrets......

Best theatrical performance I ever saw ? Devo, believe it or not. Just amazing! Todd Rundgren/Utopia, number two. Genesis (w/Peter Gabriel, number three). Stevie Winwood, Back in the Highlife tour, number four, but oh, so good.

We all have those times when it gets tough, don't stop, keep going when it hurts even if you have nothing left. Never quit even when you can't see how far you have to go.

If that's the mag that goes with it, it's the .25 Jetfire. The .22 short version is the Minx and mag has slots on each side like a Ruger Mk series mag instead of holes.

For fans of Greg, Dicky and the crew

I am a huge ABB fan and hate that Duane Allman and Berry Oakley gettin killed on different motorcycle wrecks in Macon,Ga less than 5 city blocks apart robbed us all of some killer music,,

Gotta wonder why he thought firing another round would be a could idea.

Danger: Unsafe Ammo Ultramax

Note that this ammo is "re-manufactured", even if it does not say so. Most ranges do not allow "re-manufactured" ammo.
Pictures are pretty graphic. Total of six pictures.

URGENT warning to my friends in the Law Enforcement Community :
I went to the range to qualify last week using the ammo pictured below. The first round I fired was ok. The 2nd round exploded in my weapon. I was able to clear my handgun and chamber the 3rd round when it also exploded in the weapon, only this time it blew the shell extractor from the gun. I did not attempt to shoot further ammo from this box. The gun is a New Sig (one year old) 320 9 mm

Now, If you are using Ultramax DISCONTINUE using. This company has some serious quality control issues. Officer Safety is at risk. I would strongly suggest you Do Not Use. Pull it from your shelves.

Looks like it fired out of battery.
Nice perfect little ring where it blew away from the solid web and about .100 forward.
Notice the swipe mark from the firing pin. Some serious timing issues there.

An over pressure wouldn't look like that.

I was thinking the same thing. No way that case was fully supported when it went off.

Hell, the primer is like new except for the swipe mark.
If it had been a pressure issue, that bitch would have flowed to the edges and been flat as a pancake.
Shooter might have been trying to pull the trigger while chambering a round and the sear let go. The problem is in the pistol.

Discontinue using the pistol!

I'm a Sig fan, and an America fan, but American made Sig's just don't behave like the old German ones. (and I'm sure there were issues with some German ones too- you just don't hear about it)

I was going to sell my old one (perfectly fine but several thousand rounds through it) and get a newer one. This is the worst example I've seen but this reinforces my decision to keep what I have.

APOPKA, Fla. – Spike’s Tactical, a national AR-15 parts and weapons manufacturer based near Orlando, Florida, and Pipe Hitters Union, an international apparel manufacturer based in Austin, Texas, were attacked by Newsweek on Monday for an advertisement the companies recently ran in SKILLSET Magazine and posted on Facebook earlier this week.

“Our advertisement, NOT TODAY ANTIFA, is meant to be pro-American and against those who would suppress freedom of speech and the rest of our constitutionally protected rights, including the right to bear arms,” said Kit Cope, spokesman for Spike’s Tactical. “We offer zero apologies to anyone that is offended by this advertisement that depicts armed, but peaceful, patriotic Americans standing up against socialist, anarchist and communist rioters.”

The dual-page ad, which was designed for and is scheduled to run in RECOIL Magazine for the 2018 SHOT Show in Las Vegas, was commissioned as a joint advertisement between Spike’s Tactical and Pipe Hitters Union.

“We had no idea this ad would become so controversial, but let me be very clear about one point – We are not and do not support Nazis or any white supremacist movement in any shape or form,” said Lincoln A. Osiris, president of Pipe Hitters Union. “Every year we do a centerfold ad together with Spike’s Tactical for SHOT Show, and this year, after the rioting in several cities throughout the U.S., we decided to address those who are anti-American, anti-government and anti-democracy in our advertisement. We believe that anyone who supports this great nation, the Constitution and our democratic republic supports our stance.”

6 tons of jailers to handle one crackhead. Is that 1J04 showing up at 1:03 to handle comms?

Hot Damn! Love it when good Americans stand up for what's right!

Agreed. This does not look like a pressure issue or a cartridge issue. Looks like a gun firing before it's in battery.

Probably should move discussion to sidearms and K-bars, though... or to reloading.

But IMHO, something going on with the Sig.

Stay Safe!
