There's a 57 Chevy near me that has been slowly becoming one with the earth for the last 40+ years. I don't know the story, but it's been there so long I would guess maybe owned by a son who never returned from Vietnam (it's been sitting in that spot that long).
Laugh if you will but it works! I was mowing at Deer camp once and ran out of shear bolts for the bushhog. I ended up using a center punch and held it in place with a half roll of electrical tape. It let me salvage a days work.
