I'd like to mount an XLR cheek rest on my B&C A2 Medalist. Try as I might, I do not seem to be able to find any instructions to do so using commercially available hardware. I am sure I can cobb something together, but enough folks have them mounted where surely someone has figured it all out? Thanks in advance.

Re: Mounting XLR Cheek rest

take a 3/8 nc bolt cut it and drill and tap the center 1/4 20tpi.

Then drill and tap the stock for the 3/8 bolt then your done

Well, glue the insert in as well.

Thanks James - learning how to tap right now on youtube. Looks straightforward enough.
