In my search for a 20 MOA R700 sa base without an extended front I ran across Murphy Precision. After a short period of deliberation I ordered the base as well as his 1" low scope rings, both coated black. That same day he coats both products and gets them shipped. You can't possibly beat that for service.
Well I received them today and they are perfect. Both the machining and coating is flawless. All of the edges are nicely beveled and tool marks are non existent. The rings are cut in matched pairs with wire EDM and it really shows. With even the slightest tightening of the caps the Bushnell 10x mil/mil (another great product) was held rock solid.
I have not had a chance to get everything mounted to the rifle yet, but when I do I will post an update and range report.
