My first groups under .5" and one under .25"

After massaging the trigger on my Savage MKII FV, I headed out to the range yesterday to go and test it out. I tried a small variety of ammo while I was out there, some Federal copper jacketed stuff, Federal Gold Medal, Wolf Match Target, and the holiest of holy... Eley Tenex. Surprisingly I did better with the Wolf than I did with the Tenex, granted I did only shoot the one group with Tenex. Most of the groups were in the .5"-.75" range, but here are some of the best groups of the day, all of them are 5 shots at 50 yards off of a bipod.

Excellent. Love those Savages.

This was my pre-zero 3 shot group at 50 yards with Wolf Match Extra.

Very nice! My best at 50 is .20" (measured from BC's). You can see all my best groups in the link in my sig. Keep it up!
