Bergara 6.5 cm vortex viper haven’t purchased a good bipod yet so gotta deal with the trash one in the pic. I will be loading 130tmks and 145gr armed match burners in Peterson brass sitting on h4350 powder. Excited to find my recipe and start seeing what I’m capable of.

Looks an awful lot like my rig! And a “junk” flip-down bipod will go a long way for you as long as it’s solidly mounted.

Good luck with your work-up! Be warned that if you wanna load close-ish to the lands and still mag feed, you might need to grind out a little scoop in the feed ramp to get the bullet tip to clear the bottom rim of the receiver.

Ask me how I know.

I measured my mag it’s longer than jam so I should be ok. But thanks for the heads up
Have you tried to run the gun with mag-length rounds? Make sure they’ll actually cycle that long, I had to take like 0.100” out of the receiver at the bullet tip to be able to cycle mag-length rounds.

No I haven’t had time to do shit with it yet. When I start tuning my seating depth I will see where I need to be with it. I haven’t even torqued the scope rings yet because I need to get an inch pound wrench. I just ordered the 20 Moa rail and threw it together. Lol I don’t even know if I put the rail on in the right direction. I got excited threw it together and went to bed. Haven’t had it out since.
