Re: My First LR308 Build

Nice job on the build. +1 for larue. I put a Larue SPR (lt104) on my DPMSLR308 and it works perfect with my nighforce 3.5-15x50. I'm also a fan of the QD system. Make it easy of taking it on and off.

Good Luck

Re: My First LR308 Build

I've been looking at the LT104 pretty hard (DILLO DUST!) but I'm not completely sure I need QD capabilities. This rifle is going to stay scoped. As far as optics for closer in business, I have other options that are lighter than this pig! I've always been led to believe that the scope should be as close to the barrel without touching, so I'm a little concerned that something like a lt104 will position the scope too high above the bore. The PRS will make eye relief a non issue, I'm just concerned from the accuracy side of it. Thanks for the advice guys!
