My new 9 twist 7-08 is actually a 9.5...

Don't know how I "misread", but apparently I did when ordering a 7-08 barrel.

I intended to buy a 9 twist with the intention of trying the 162 Amax...when the receipt/barrel came, it's a 9.5 twist.

At sea level here in FL, "SHOULD" I be able to stabilize this bullet from a 26" barrel?

I was having no problems with the factory 20" barrel in a 10.5 twist with 150 SMK's, so I'm thinking "yes"...

Ideally you want your stability rating to stay above 1.4 but I have had good luck with bullets that scored 1.1 YMMV

2600 fps gets me 1.45 at 70 degrees, even at 50 I'm 1.4.

Phew....I think...
