My next supressor will be for a 30 caliber rifle...and....I have a 7600P, 700 VSSF, 300 Win Mag, 300 UM and AR10T.

Will a special modification be require for the AR10T. It is with a LoThar barrel, fired about 12 times. I don't know the year it was made but it's been awhile. I've heard Armalite has made changes to their gas system! Or is there an after market change I can make to the gas system in the rifle now...

REMEMBER I only operate at 24-watts so write like you are writing for someone at 20-watts...

Thanks

Your gonna make your gunsmith rich with all of the threading your gonna have to do.First you'll have to find a can that will handle the .300.

I'm gonna be selective when I decide which rifle; I'd sure like it on that 7600P...one helluve a neat, compact rifle....

+1 to that. Actually, just get the 338P and you'll be all set if you ever step to a .338LM.

YHM says their 7.62 can supports any 30 cal round you can put through it.

And ditto on sounding good on a 308. Its like shootin a 22, both sound and recoil. For a couple extra db's, it ain't worth the extra cash IMHO. go yhm

Only one rifle? Then just threading is good. Quick attach cost a bit extra for the adapter but is great for multiple rifles. I have a AAC cyclone in 30cal and love it. I use it on 308 and 7WSM. Works great on both.
I do suggest the the TAB cover sold by rifles only. It keeps the heat mirage from the can way down when shooting with optics.

Re: My next supressor will be for a 30 cal ...and.

Use my SAS can 30 cal can on .223, .308, 300WM, and 7WSM. Haven't been anything other than pleased with the quality of the product, CS, POI change, db reduction, and dealing with Tim at SAS. Hard to go wrong with that. Add to that his price, and it's hard to go somewhere else IMHO.

Re: My next supressor will be for a 30 cal ...and.

I have ran Thermal Imaging test on all of the aboved suppressor's and some not listed to look for hot spots in them.
The one that did the best was the Tiger shark we fired 6rds 300wm threw it in 5min temp went to 212deg.
We had a nother brand that was magnum rated put it on the same 300wm same load fired 6rds in the same time the temp was 312deg.
The SS cans held the heat for 15 to 20 mins longer than the titanium ones.

We saw the results, and it was pretty amazing!

If your needing a suppressor for hearing conservation reasons, then you can use just about any of them in the correct caliber.... If your wanting to slow down a high powered rifle like 308, 300wm to subsonic levels... IMO your, going to be very disappointed. To get full effect of a suppressor go with a cartridge that is designed for subsonic, like 300 blackout, 458 SOCOM and there are others.
