Got hit with a 31 dollar charge from Dominos a week after I made a different order from Dominos. Both charges are showing. Paypal won't refund it because it matches my spending habits because of the other purchase. Of course thanks to the end of the world no one is working there to help or argue with about the charge.

I can't even close the account because I can't reach or chat with anyone.

I changed the password but I am concerned i will get hit with another charge. Is changing the password enough? I haven't seen anything else go through on it.

Delete your bank account and or Credit cards in your account. Leave a zero balance. Change password. Then if someone truly can still access your account after you changed your password, they would need to add a card and or bank account to make a purchase.

Create a new account with a new email if you have to.

Contact your CC company and dispute.

Several years ago a friend used paypal to order a computer built to his specs. Guy never delivered; had taken $ from a couple dozen people. He was charged and convicted of fraud. Part of his sentence was restitution.

My friend kept contacting PP asking for a status, but they refused to give any info citing privacy or some other BS. After about two years, someone suggested he contact AMEX. They told him, "Yes, we have experience with PayPal." Had his money back in about 45 days. PP contacted him threatening to close his account if he didn't return the money.

I ditched these asshats years ago. If a seller can't take a MO or CC, I don't need what he's selling.

Since we're all at home and bored, check out a few PayPal stories.

This. I had to do it before

actually they have relaxed their stance on gun related purchases. all gun related gun items on ebay r paid with paypal. They provide financing to purchase scopes thru eurooptic . Several other sites i've purchased gun items they are a source of payment. i don't use their CC and maybe that's why i've never had a problem. Only use it for online purchases. It's also linked to an account i use only for them. I deposit as needed. i've been with them so long, they actually pay the seller several days before it is ever pulled out of my account. Maybe they smartened up and realize the amount of money gun owners spend. After all, it's all about the dollar.
