My Pmag 30 rounder only hold 27...

I bought 5 30 round Pmag rebuild kits disassembled from a guy and I got them yesterday.. Out of pure boredom and gittyness of having a new toy I figured why not load them up..

I have loaded 3 of the 5 and they all go to 27 and that's it.. Cant fit anymore in.. I heard they could fit 32..

Did I put the spring/follower/bottom plate in wrong or is this normal??

Or do they just need to be broken in??

My GI mag holds 30 exactly no problem..

Please delete..

I took out the spring and follower and put them back in exactly how they were now they take up to 31...

Idk what happened the first time I put them in.

You can fit 31 in there, but don't do it -- the mag will not seat on a closed bolt.

Yeah you dont want to load 31. The bold will not pick up the first round when you need it most. Ask me how I know....

Oh I know.. Im probably going to just pop in 20.. Takes freakin 10 min to fill a 30 round mag hahaha I cant even imagine shooting it.. I dont think Mag changes are even necessary lol

These are my first 30 rounders as u guys can tell.

But I just heard they can be filled to like 31 or 32..

Why did it only let me fit in 27 tho??
One of the springs were upside down but the rest were exactly how I put them back in and it acted like I did a secrete code and now it allows 30..
