No, I'm not crazy and that isn't a typo. 42mm rings for a 2-6x68 ATN DNS. The OEM rings are crap and don't hold up to the recoil. Needs to be steel construction if possible, with 4 screw caps, ring width not exceeding 3/4". My google-fu has netted me nothing.

I realize that these may have to be a custom build, just trying to avoid that. I certainly didn't choose these things, but I have to live with them and try to get some use out of it.

If any member or vendor on here knows of any rings that may be available, please roger up or PM me. Thanks guys.

No one yet, huh? Can't say I'm surprised. Hopefully someone will have an idea. Has anyone else out there used these scopes before? ATN doesn't even list them on their main product line, archives only, and I can see why.

Anyone know a custom scope ring maker that could cut these, even if it has to be aluminum?

Yeah, I was already looking at that option with these from PRI. Our other scopes are the 4-12x80 with 40mm tubes, so we need all the ring height we can get. I know it's only 2mm bigger, but I can't help but wonder what that would do to the strength of the rings. They're on .50's.

I'm half hoping I come up with a FAIL on this endeavor, so I can finally convince the boss to let us put back on the 10x SS and say screw the NV.

Thanks Shay.
