I have a Remington 700 Mountain Rifle LSS that I bought a replacement stock for. The new stock, a B&C Alaskan, needs a small bit of inletting work for it to fit properly. I can get the rifle in the stock (with a bit of work), but it's a smidge off and I can't load the magazine (bullets pop out and simply won't stay), and even the couple of times I have gotten bullets to fit, they don't cycle properly. It appears there's a small pinch with this new stock. Everything works as it should with the factory stock so I know it isn't a rifle issue. WIth the new stock, I can shoot the rifle as a single shot.
Is there a smith who could do this stock work with a quick turn around (a month or less)?
I am in the beginning stages of load development for this rifle to use in 2 hunts (one in Oct and one in Nov), so I would need it back fairly quickly.
Thanks
