Hello everyone,
I have a LT 5.56 on the way and leaning towards putting a Nightforce 3.5x15 50mm with the NP-R2 reticle. The weapon will be used primarily for paper and coyotes/badgers.
The country is pretty wide open with opportunities for very long shots, but I doubt I will shoot more than 600 yards.
My logic is: better to have more and not need it and also the fact that I intend to add a LT .308 to my collection in the near future, i.e. If the scope proves to be far more than I need, I can put it on the .308.
Also, weight isn't a huge factor for me, I'm 6'2 200 lbs and carrying a 10-11 lb weapon isn't an issue for me. Thanks in advance for any feedback.
