Need custom builders for a 6.5 x47 Lapua!

Gang,
So far I've ben looking at GAP and Mr. Terry Cross for the builds. I've had no look getting a response from them. "They most be slammed. I really want to start the project and get it to the range before winter hits here. I really don’t see this happening for due to the demand some of these shoot are experience. Do you know of other custom builders that may be able to turn around said rifle in a more timely manner?? Please advise,

William Roscoe here on the Hide. Mark King and Bruce Baer are in Pa. They all know their way around a rifle.

I checked my PMs and emails and did not see any traffic related to you. Let me know when and how you tried to contact me so I can keep the next person from slipping through my many cracks.

If you have tried to contact me without a reply, I apologize. The phone and email traffic is high for such a small shop.

I may or may not be able to oblige you on this project but I <span style="font-weight: bold">always</span> try to respond to everybody regardless of the situation. Even if I feel I may not be a good fit for whatever job the caller is asking about, I feel they deserve the courtesy of a response.

In addition to building, I also play secretary, accounting, janitorial and entertainment roles here. Accordingly, from time to time I may suck at anything listed behind the "building" part.

+1 If I did not build my own now and was not tied down to one smith because of our friendship WNROSCOE would build my next rifle.

Don't rule out Travis, he builds a ton of 6.5x47's!!

He's leaving soon for a match in WY so if you miss him it'll be a couple days before he gets back to you.

how about benchmark barrels in arlington washington, they did this one for me and their prices are reasonable and they are top quality. They make their own barrels which are well known in the benchrest game for great accuracy and they hold a few benchrest records also.

But if he can, you'll love the end result.

I haven't used William Roscoe, but have had some communication with him a little while back. If I needed a rifle done quickly but done right, he'd be high on the list of potential builders.

Roscoe's work is GTG. I've seen a couple of his 6.5 x 47s and the work is top notch. His .308's aren't bad either!

I have one of his rifles and it is f'n phenominal. It's so good I'm having him build me 3 more with plans for a 4th.

Jered Joplin at American Precision Arms is great choice for a custom rifle. He stayed up on a Friday night until nearly 1am talking to me about my build. Great dude, great rifle builder. Can't go wrong with him.
