Rifle Scopes Need help with EREK knob on USO scope

I just purchased a used rifle/scope package. Took it to the range the other day for the first time. My groups are 6" high at 100 yards.

Windage is right on and groups are about 1.5" (for me). My scope is a USO SN3 TPal with EREK elevation knob. Could the scope be zeroed at 600 yards? I ask because I can't dial the EREK knob any lower except for about 3 clicks so I couldn't zero it any closer.

My question is, how do I get the EREK knob to dial down further to a 100 yard zero? This is my first USO scope and I'm too nervous to just screw with it without having a clue as to what I am doing.

Thanks in advance!

Re: Need help with EREK knob on USO scope

If you have the solid center cover on the elevation knob remove it, place the cover that has the hole in it for the allen key and with adjustment dial etched around it for use as a guide, then find the proper allen key and adjust as needed. Once your zero is confirmed you can put the solid cover back on. I would recommend that you call USO and ask for a manual and any other partss you may be missing I'm sure they will be more than happy to help you out.
