I have searched and searched and now I need some help. I just mounted a Savage Mark II TR in an Oryx chassis. When the cheek riser is in it's lowest position, it is just about dead center with the chamber. I am 6'2" tall so I need to raise the center of my scope quite a bit. I am currently using some Burris Signature Zee x-high rings but I need more height. I hate the idea of adding a riser. Anybody have any ideas of rings or a 1-piece mount that has a rail to center of scope height over 1.6". I have found the Burris PEPR and a 1 piece made by Rock River Arms. Geissle also makes one but it is about $50.00 more than the scope I am mounting so forget that. The scope is a Mueller 8-32X42 Target Dot. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

I do not know what a Savage Mark II TR is but it seems that when it's in an Oryx chassis the cheekweld is different than stock. I'm a little taller than the OP and I like to have my head upright when using a riflescope. On my AR-10, I used the Burris 1/2 inch risers on the rail, and on top of that I installed the extra-high Burris XTR Signature rings. This kept the over weight down a little bit by not having to use a complete rail. The risers are $17 each (need two) and the work just fine.
