Anyone have, or knows where I can buy or borrow ( <span style="font-weight: bold">more than </span><span style="font-weight: bold">willing to put a good deposit on it to insure return</span> )an action wrench for the TRG22. Could not break barrel loose today , need to install a new 260 REM on it. Any help greatly appreciated . Contact me thru site or my email.

If you have ccess to a milling machine get a piece of 1" square solid bar and another piece the same size about 7" or 8" long. Drill 2 good size holes in both pieces spaced a little wider than the width of the action. The holes should be to take something around 5/8 bolts. Bolt this around your action nd watch it come apart with extreme ease.

To the best of my knowledge, there are only 2 parell flats on the receiver, they are not that wide( about 1/2 " ) but that is an idea. Possibly mill the bar to fit the flats, leave remainder to put some big bolts in them. Might try that. I contacted Beretta Midwest, they had no info on action wrench, don't see a part in ythe literature for the TRG online.

I think Brownells sells one that is more or less universal that will work. I am in the market for one I can use as a quick change setup. The Brownells clamps to the out side and you have to take the scope base off and out of the chassis. So if any one can make a highquality one that fits in the action some how you may have 2 sold.
