Suppressors NEF Handi-Rifle in 30-06 with Surefire 762SS

the following video is a New England Firearms Handi-Rifle in 30-06 that we had cut down to 16" and had a Surefire muzzlebrake/adapter installed. we are shooting suppressed and un-suppressed. hope you enjoy.

Nice clip, that little stick doesn't look like it would be much fun to shoot with heavy loads. What ammo was that?

Just regular wal-mart remington hunting loads. i am going to start reloading for it. i got some 180 gamekings that i will be loading subsonic with Trailboss, and after that who knows.

Do you know the twist rate in it? 10tw will stabilize cast 220RN's easily enough from my 30-06. With that much bullet in the case you can use Unique or Red Dot for a subsonic load as well.

If you have trouble with the GK's loaded normally try seating them point first so the boat tail is sticking out of the case and seat them deep (since you're obviously not mag feeding). You will be able to take up some of the airspace with bullet nose and it will help stabilize with teh bullet oriented that way.
