So, this thread, and this thread should tell you all you need to know, if you care to.
I bought some glasses a bit more than a month ago that turned out to be total shit. I returned them for a full refund including shipping.
From what I can tell, everything is total shit when it comes to recording video from some glasses.
I can get similar performance from glasses a fraction of the price I initially paid. While it's useless in contrasty areas, and extremely useless in dark environments, I still think a camera in the frame is the best approach.
As y'all know, some weird shit went down in h-town not too long ago, and I'd love nothing more than to go right up to the assholes in question and ask them the questions that ought to be asked. I want it on fucking video, though. I don't want them to know they're being recorded.
I want to share that shit with the whole damn world, and not alter a god damn thing.

Video quality sucked.
The frames were huge and made me look like a fucktard ( I can deal with looking like a fucktard, but not if the video quality sucks, too.)
