Range Report 'new' 300WM at the range

recently picked up a Win M70 classic sporter in 300WM

had the gunsmith install a Shrewd muzzle brake on it

did testing today at the low end of the powder charge range, using 175 SMKs.

the brake is very effective, less recoil than my unbraked 308 bolt

found a couple powder charges that produced moa or better at 100 yds

will be fine tuning the load when the 165gr Game Kings arrive

at the time, several years back my 9yr old triplets liked the .300wm with 190's,,,and a vias........so go big texgal

I love my .300wm, unless the wind is crazy I have used it to 1400 yards and it is allmost to easy . Using a sendero as it came from remington except for a brake, and a trigger.
I'am new here so it is good to see others like the .300wm also.
