Rebarreled a R700 308 to 6.5CM, I've shot (30) Prime 130s and (10) 140 American Gunner with zero issues. The 4 ELD-x I shot all failed to eject but easily came out of the chamber with little effort from a cleaning rod. Unfired rounds also failed to eject and had no obvious markings from lands (not entirely sure what to look for). Whats up with that?

There are ejector marks on all the cases.

Well, if both fired and unfired rounds fail to extract but are pushed out easily with a cleaning rod, and two other brands function correctly, doesn't it pretty much have to be:
    • Headspace issue with the ELD-X rounds - dropping too far into the chamber (but this would also imply light primer strike or failure to fire)
    • Extractor issue - not hooking over the ELD-X rim
If you manually chamber a fired ELD-X case and close the bolt on it, does it extract? If not, can you put a cleaning ron down the barrel and tap the case a few times and see if the extractor hooks it?

fired case will not extract, and I can not push it from the muzzle.

oddly enough an unfired case with no projectile will extract

Turns out I had some out of spec ammo and have contacted Hornady.
Out of spec in what way? Length, probably, but... anything else?

Glad you tracked down the issue... always gets in one's head to encounter out of spec ammo - or barrels or whatever. Thirty years ago or so, a friend of mine got a new set of .410 barrels for her Krieghoff K-20 over/under shotgun. Factory shells - regardless of brand - wouldn't fit. She had to send it back. Those barrels sell new today for $4-5,000.
