New Lawton Build

I've wanted a rifle like this since I was a kid. 5 shots make 1 fuzzy hole at 100yds. Thing of beauty.

The can completes the package. Quiet, and the recoil impulse is smoothed out. The lawton brake was more efficient, but I'll take the quiet over a less recoil.

Lawton 7000 repeater action
Lawton 18" 3-groove barrel (.308win)
Timney trigger
YHM Phantom 7.62 QD suppressor
Nightforce 5.5-22x50 NP-R2 reticle, zero stop
Nightforce rings
Lawton 20 MOA base
Accushot Atlas bipod w/ AI spigot
AICS 2.0 stock

Not a lot.

Got about 30 rnds down the tube.

Its not even broke in, and its shooting like a laser beam.

Wow!

Looks really good. You mentioned the Lawton brake being very efficient, Do they have more than one model? If they do can you tell me which one worked well for you? I can't have a can here in Cali.

Not sure if they have other designs. My 308 barely moved when I had it on there. Damn nice brake.

???? Really....btw that's why I asked

I haven't seen the rifle yet, only the picture up on the original thread. From the pic, I can't even tell if the barrel was threaded. Do you know something that I don't, very curious? I'm still trying to put together a list of folks I need to call, and thank them personally.
