I own an FN SPR A1 that pretty much outshoots me. I'm trying to decide if it's worth the expense to bed and upgrade it. Can anybody recommend a gunsmith in the central New Mexico area that works reliably on FN/Winchester model 70s? I realize i will be voiding the warranty, but hey, i've only ever shot handloads from the get-go and that voids the warranty as well. I'm interested in dropping the rifle into a bedded Manners T2-A to get an adjustable cheekpiece and wring any extra accuracy out of it, along with installing a CDI bottom metal and dropping the stock trigger pull down to @ 2.5lbs or so. I've found a place called High Score Gunsmithing online in Albuquerque--anybody got experience with them? Particularly with FNs or Win. Model 70s? I'm assuming most smiths will install such items if provided by the buyer?
    Thanks for any help/ideas.

Great place to work with! </div></div>

I've seen and fired a couple of OutlawTen5's scorehigh rifles, they are shooters and the fit/finish is excellent...

    Thanks guys,
Made my mind up to call ScoreHigh in Albuquerque this week and talk about cost+time to properly bed my rifle and reduce the original winchester trigger pull to @ 2 lbs. Their website is confidence inspiring as are the comments here. I'm kind of interested in their "precision scope installation" as well, after seeing the photos online.
I knew joining the hide would be helpful.
    Gung Ho.
