Only had 5rds left after I zeroed the rifle. So I threw them all into the same target. I have a lot to work on considering I haven't shot much in the past few years, but I think this is a good start. .417" CTC

Hopefully I'll get a chance to get back out to the range this weekend. Wanting to do a box test on the scope and try out a few different types of factory ammo and see which the rifle likes the most -- 178gr Hornady Superformance, 175gr SWAmmo, and some 155gr SWAmmo.

Almost have everything I need to start reloading and then I can start working up a load with the 208 A-MAX.

I'll post updates as I get out to the range more.

Looks fine to me. Very nice setup and nice shooting.

Re: New Rifle+Scope+Extras=Happy

This was the first time I have fired a bullpup bolt rifle, and didn't have any trouble with it; the 60 degree bolt throw helps with keeping your cheek weld. The first few rounds I had to deliberately make myself stay in position, but after that it all becomes fluid.

The action is very smooth and the trigger is crisp with zero creep. So far I'm very impressed with what Ethan and crew have put together.

I've put some thought into putting a NP3 coating on the bolt to see how it affects cycling, but will most likely buy an extra .308 bolt to compare the two. ** I talked to DTA and they informed me that the heat of the NP3 coating will not damage the heat treatment of the bolt.

Re: New Rifle+Scope+Extras=Happy

That's a beautiful group, and a great looking gun- my buddy overseas here says he's been to the DTA page a dozen times wanting to pull the trigger but hasn't got the nerve to buy it yet.

I think I'll send him a link.
