New rifle, what can I expect?

Ok, to make a long story short, I traded an ar for a very lightly used Savage 116 338 Winchester Magnum. I have always been a remington guy and have never shot or dealt with a savage. What can I reasonably expect as far as accuracy and reliability from the 116 model savage. Also what can I expect as far as accuracy from a 338 win mag? I have never shot a 338, but do have a 300. Will they be similar? Thanks for the help.

Ever been kicked by a mule? If you reload try 225 Hornadys and 73grs RE19, should be very accurate.
