And for those of you wondering, "wtf is that brass?" Its a brass powder load for a 5"/38 cannon used on battleships (and probably other ships too--I was watching a video on USS New Jersey).
I did not know that larger cannons had brass "cartridges" although its not a complete cartridge as the brass only holds the powder and the shell is separate. The "big" main guns used bagged powder--that I knew. Today's random knowledge for the masses.
(And all the Navy guys are like STFU NOOB!!)
