It is finally here!

Stiller predator
Kreiger sendero taper Fluted cut at 22" + brake
Timney Trigger at 1.5#
McMillan made for Holland stock (so i am told)
NXS 5.5-22x50

After my good friend at Macs Gunworks in Gillette, WY put it together (he did an awesome job) I told him to go ahead and start on me a new 6.5x47.... custom guns are my new crack cocaine!

Re: new Stiller .300wm!!!!!!!!

Thanks guys! To be honest, I only have two slight complaints. 1- when the bolt is all the way back, it hits the comb. 2- the NF may be tough as nails but the optical clarity does not go along with a $1700 pricetag.

Re: new Stiller .300wm!!!!!!!!

Do you happen to know what your barrel weighs w/o the brake?

That setup is exactly what I'm looking at for my next barrel: 22" Krieger Sendero w/ deep flutes.

Re: new Stiller .300wm!!!!!!!!

I do not know barrel weight. Overall with scope (no bipod) was 11.2#.

I only had a few minutes for shoot before dark so I got it sighted in at 100yds. (3" high) but hope to get out to Mac's to shoot at his range.

Re: new Stiller .300wm!!!!!!!!

well.... I dont have any pictures nor do I know 5 shot group sizes... BUT! I did hit at 1k and all in between last night. oh and, my girlfriend his 600 like several times!

Re: new Stiller .300wm!!!!!!!!

The brake looks ok but i really want to put one of my buddies brakes on it. I can't really compare the effectiveness but i do know my gun kick 1/2 of what my buddies tikka t3 270 does.

Re: new Stiller .300wm!!!!!!!!

Why are you thinking of selling it? I see you have a 6.5x47 on the way. I'm tossing around getting rid of my 300 and building a .260.

Re: new Stiller .300wm!!!!!!!!

Actually, the 6.5 is done and is an awesome gun. It's main function is a hunting gun at around 6Lbs. The 300 has been my hunting gun and did an awesome job on the antelope/deer but it's almost too heavy to pack around. I should have went one way or the other with it, either make it a great hunting rifle or put it in a tactical stock, get a longer barrel (it's only a 22) and make a good bench gun out of it. Right now, it's just in between...

Re: new Stiller .300wm!!!!!!!!

That's waaay slow. How much load development did you do? Mine will shoot factory 180's at 3000 fps. My 208 load is about 2870, but it's loaded to .010 off the lands, about 3.650", so a lot more case capacity.

If you can cash out of it, then fine, but if you're going to take a loss, I say keep it, put it in a A5, T4 or T2 and exploit that barrel a little bit. Do you have room to stretch its legs? Even with the 22", mine is good for 2000 yds. without breathing heavy when I load 208 Amax's in front of H1000.

That thing could still be an awesome range rifle. Need to change the brake though. Prone will suck.

Re: new Stiller .300wm!!!!!!!!

JROB- funny you should mention all of that. I was doing a little "hide stalking" on you and saw your post about the 200gr AB's. I was hoping you could help me out on some loads. (new to the handloading). I have a 1200yd steel plate range (100yd interval plates) which is PLENTY for me.
