One more thing if you havnt already I would post this at Rimfirecentral.com in the savage section I'll bet you'd get a shitload of intrest off those guys theres a huge nimber of them looking for osmething like this for a savage

Most of the guys in the savage forum over there are old timers who only like blue/wood....
although there is at leastone newbie a week who asks were to get a synthetic stock.

I am looking at pulling the trigger on a MkII. If I do I will definitely want to replace the stock with something closer to my big rifle.
I was stoked about the 10/22 stock, but the more I looked at it the less sense it made since I would have to do quite a bit of work to get a 10/22 to shoot as consistently as the MkII seems to be able to.

I say, ditch the rear hook, its to close to the pistol grip anyhow, and it MUST come in left handed stock options.
The Savage rimfire sales great due to the fact there are lefty actions in the mix.

Why would a stock maker not offer lefty's is counter productive to there business I feel. Three pages at midway USA and not one left handed stock. What crap!!!!

It would need to have an adjustable LOP and fit the bull barrel profile. My BTVS stock is ok, but the LOP is about 6 inches too short!

Sorry bubb, but really wanted to give a date of completion. Unfortunitly, we have been extremely busy and OEM projects have priority.
I will try and step in more often and keep you guys updated.
