Area 419 sent me a email today showing off there new zero turret press. Its got 9 stations and weighs 30lbs. Its suppose to have .0006"slop in the ram with 4.4 inchs of ram stroke and accommodate up to 338 lapua magnum. Every pivot has roller bearings or thrust bearings. It looks pretty sick and very well built. It has a price tag of 1200 dollars and comes with a dust cover. There taking pre orders and will be shipping them out sometime in September. What are your thoughts on something like this. Its suppose to be a big improve on redding t7 turret and other turrets presses but damn at 1200 bucks you could almost get a tricked out dillon 750. Anybody here gonna get one and why are u gonna.

I've had mine a few months now - really impressive. It has all of the strengths of the Redding T-7 with none of the weaknesses. I used to use a T-7, along with an Ultramag and Rockchucker, but I'm thinking I'll get rid of those now (maybe keep the Rockchucker for dedicated decapping).

My friend @GBMaryland has one and function seems to be perfect and quality is out of sight.

I have his old Big Boss II but can see a turret press in my future......and I just kinda want one.

It is a beautiful piece of work.

I bought the new Mec metallic loader about a week before the Area419 came out. It is very rigid and smooth as silk. I also got it from Mec as a factory second( I had to touch up the paint a bit) for 139.00$, hard to pass on that deal.

If I had waited a week I'm not sure what I would have done? I really like the Mec, but the other one is in a different stratosphere! You can certainly load for a lot less than 1200$, but as the great saying goes.............................. Cool shit ain't cheap and cheap shit ain't cool!
