Pursuing one their hunting and shooting forums I noted a couple that are a bit buggy about the censorship. I'm sure there may be more silently biting their tongues. There were actually more posters that felt it was the proper in this instance to sacrifice liberty for virtue.

Their viewpoints are often a bit off to me, and very leftist leaning for a gun forum. Maybe the years of brainwashing by the media and education system has sunk in a bit more over there due to the differences in history.

Everyone has to remember this. No other country was born in blood and firearms in pursuit of freedom. Naturally, they wont have the innate gusto for that freedom, nor see the true importance of being armed as a populace. Its only fitting that they have a national case of Stockholm syndrome in regards to their political captors. None of this is surprising. We as Americans are truly the anomaly in the world. We need not forget that and not forget our history of who we are. Too much of this country has, long ago.

Very true, the average American isn't the smartest these days and believes everything on the TV, Facebook, twitter, and any other media outlets. It's a shame hardly anyone does their own research anymore. News isn't even news anymore, it's political rhetoric and opinion. I remember when I was growing up, news was on once in the AM and once in the PM.

There's a certain segment of society that is in some ways religious. Because God is benevolent, .gov gives to those less fortunate and thus god is .gov. From benevolence you'd never get hurt by the one that loves you and so in summary, free shit.
