I’d love to keep it under $1K, but I’m ok with more if that’s an unreasonable number. I don’t shoot PRS stuff yet, but am leaning that way. I’ve had a couple of AO guns built, so I’m investing with PRS being the direction I’m going. Thanks!

I use and would highly recommend the Bushnell lmss 8 - 40 spotter. You can get it with or without a reticle. It's fairly small and lightweight which means it's easy to carry and pack for matches, hunting, etcetera. It's got great build quality and waterproof and rubberized coating for the inevitable knock over. I've got a much more expensive Zeiss t 85 that I never carry because of this Bushnell. There are great scopes available, without a reticle, from Kowa. We have both new and demo's.

Athlon have some quality spotters below $1,000.00, with or without a reticle. Their Cronus Tactical 7-42x60 ED Spotting Scope - TSSR FFP MIL Reticle will be shipping this month

Hawke, Leupold and Vanguard also offer some opportunities in lower priced, but good quality spotters.

If you have a few minutes to call, 516-217-1000, we can discuss what would be best for you

Hey guys, mind if I jump in? I am also looking for something to get to 1000 yrds since my club has it. However I'm looking for no more then 2k. I would also like to be able to see my dead paper holes at that distance if its possible.

If that is the case why in the world are there some scopes out there that cost more then most peoples first car? I wish the club would allow steel but unfortunately not. Only shooting at paper.

I'd suggest either Meopta or Kowa. It'd be my pleasure to discuss different options with you if you have time to give a call.
Have a great evening
