Rifle Scopes Nightforce NX8 4-32x50F1 T3 or Vortex Razor HD Gen II 4.5-27x56F1 T3

I'm currently in the market for a new optic and I cant quite decide what to go with.
Ill be running it on a R700 in an AICS AX chambered in 308.
Ill also be running a Raptar ES and a PVS-30 so good performance with a clip on night optic is also a consideration.
Primary use is shooting steel and hunting but in the future might try to get into some PRS stuff.
NF ATACR and NF BEAST were also in consideration but really just out of my price range at the moment.

Just trying to make an informed decision before I drop the coin on one so let me know what you guys think.

lightweight or ruggedness?

i'd rather the MilXT or EBR-7c every day of the week as well

That's what's attracting me to the NX8 its lightweight and has a wider magnification range than the Razor. As far as reticles go I have a hard on for the T3 at the moment so that's more than likely what ill go with.

I think NX8 wld be great. Just prefer NF optics, over Vortex. The Atacr, or the BEAST are both great optics. Just really what your preference is. I knw people have their own opinions. All my scopes are NF. Can't go wrong with NF.

honestly, i'd bet most of the time you're between 8x and 20x on both anyways especially if you plan to use the reticle like it's designed/actually visible at. weight is a good concern as there's more than a pound difference between the 2, though its going on a heavy gun with a raptor and pvs anyways

you might be the only person to get a hardon from the T3. i always thought it kinda flipped you inside out and gave you a vag

I just went through the same exercise and went with a zero compromise with a Spuhr mount.

Hope to test it out tomorrow.
