I just mounted a Nightforce NSX 8-32x56 on my Armalite AR-50. The gun came with the 15 MOA rail. After getting it all mounted up I used the Leupold bore sighter to get it bore sighted. To get it bore sighted I needed about 3 revolutions and when it was even with the bore sight it was maxed out of adjustments. But is this right? I'm assuming the bore sight is for 100 yards and I will most likely have at least a 200 yard zero.

Shoot it and find out. I don't trust bore sighters. Sometimes they lie to you. The scope has 65 MOA of elevation assuming you didn't need alot of windage to zero and with the 15 MOA base you should have about 45 MOA of up. Personally I would have atleast a 30 MOA base on a .50.
