Read a bunch of posts from around 2018 - 2019 where people report inconsistencies and fliers with these projectiles.

Have they gotten better since or are they still all over the map?

I have 2600 for my new barrel, I am shooting the 130’s and they hammer out to 1345. They like to be jumped around 40 to 50 thousand

Ive been pretty pleased with 600 130s Ive shot so far, after this next loading of 200 Im going to the 140s which I bought a couple thousand of. I really like the RDFs, they havent been exceedingly hard to make shoot in my experience.
This.
My first experience with them when first released was meh.
This year I shot some 140 and 185’s and they did well in fact when I run out of 130 ELD’s I’m going to the 130rdf.

Anyone looking for a cheap 7mm option for ELR should look into the 185 RDF.
they aren’t 190 Berger’s or A tips but then again none blew up like a few 190 a tips did snd they did well especially considering the cost.

They don't like to be close to the lands. I'm jumping mine like 60-70 thou and that was a random number I picked. When I have time I'm going to do a legit seating depth test to see where my optimal jump is.
My findings is they’re like Berger VLD and like to be quite cozy to the lands or have a good running start to the lands.

It’s only a 3 shot group during a seating depth test but looks promising. Will do more testing next range trip.

Got both 130's and 140's in. Factory firsts, not blem or seconds.

Have loaded them up with various ogive lengths.

Did not have a chance to shoot them yet, but so far not impressed; both weight and Ogive inconsistent, as if I were dealing with seconds. Worse for the 140's compared to the 130's.

Actually had seconds from various makers that were still more consistent then these. But we'll see, perhaps I will be pleasantly surprised..

Tried them with various powders ogive lengths etc. today.. Best they did was about 1 moa through 2 different barrels.

Not really target grade; I can get .5 moa of both barrels with other projectiles.

Gut feeling was that they could have been so much better if weight and ogive lengths were consistent.

During last summer's match season, I shot almost 1000 of the 140gr .264" RDFs and have had great results with them in a 26" 1:8 barrel. That's with 40.6 grs of H4350 ((~2775-2800 fps), a CCI 450, Lapua brass, and seated at 0.020" off the lands. The best 5-shot groups measured right around 3/8". To me, the real selling point to them is that they're lots cheaper than Hornady ELDs/ELD-Xs or Bergers and last summer you could actually find them in stock at Midway in substantial quantities of the same lot #. In fact, I just had a back order on Midway come through that was placed last summer. They're great match grade bullets at 2/3rds to 3/4ths the price and seem to be more available.

I am getting really good results with the 130’s, even the seconds. They do like to be jumped and they didn’t like H 4350 in my barrel but they do love Varget

The RDFs have all shot like garbage for me, especially in ARs where there is no choice but to have them jump a lot. Best groups I ever got with the 130 was 2 to 3 moa at 100 yd, after a full workup on charge weight and seating depth. Nothing shot well at all, out of several different rifles (bolt gun and AR) that do shoot well with other bullets. I'm done trying them unless Nosler makes some major change.
