Fieldcraft observation stand sketch raincover.

During observation stand tests what have you guys used to keep your sketches dry?iv used a poncho and sketched under that but its not ideal. i saw a kind of rain cover that a f class shooter uses for his data book?what things have worked for you guys,any ideas?

kind of messy but you could use carbon paper and a ziploc.

It won't look as good but you can draw a general outline of your terrain. Acetate paper and grease pencil.

cheers for the replys guys.In the end i just put it inside a big waterproof pack liner.Worked well but its all the one as i failed obs and therefore the course in the end!

Never mind, always next time mate. Try tape a lid over it (flap of covered cardbord or similar) and use a rite in the rain pen, chinograph pencil or mechanical pencil. Saturation is an inevitability.
