Ran across a USN mark 40x today. Ive never heard of or seen one. Anyone with any info on one. SER# is not on it

Back when I was searching 40x's last year, there was one on Gunbroker. Owner said Rem. made a run for the Navy of 50 rifles. Who knows where he got his info or if it is accurate.
It's the only one I've ever seen myself.
