That looks fun as hell. Pretty sure the price tag isn't too fun though . . . unless you're the DoD.
I'm sure that the long term development will yield something cool.
Right now all I can think is that there better be some hellacious overwatch, otherwise it's skeet shooting with tactical prizes.

Seen so many YouTubers who have way too much disposable income buying those mini jet engines. If I had a rig like in the vid, I'd mainly be using it for dad stuff. You know, like flying up to my roof to get the drones that my kids crashed up there. 
I read somewhere that these can travel at 80mph. Imagine if they could be used for folks to go back and forth to work? George Jetson, here we come.
Yup, at least with the OG grappling hook you have a free hand to fire your sidearm or even your rifle.

Absolutely ZERO chances of this being implemented in a real life GOPLAT or VBSS Teams unless they are Commanded by an idiot.
How about show a video of that guy attempting to climb up/down maritime stairs with all that shit hanging to his sides.
A boarding member that cannot climb stairs is as useless as carrying a RPG during boarding.

DoD isn't seriously considering this for field use. This is just early proof of concept and systems testing. This where they want to be in 20 years:
In the day, to become a HRST Master all that was required was to be situationally aware and a good understanding of knots. (Can't tie a knot; tie a lot)
