Re: open carry on a motorcycle

I was checking out the pic, and thinking to myself...the local cops probably would'nt like this set up. Then I noticed the sheriff in the background. This could get very complicated for the bike owner.

In New York, sure. In Utah, Wyoming, Montana, Idaho, Arizona, Nevada, no problemo.

Re: open carry on a motorcycle

A few years back a photo was circulating of a biker that had a Moss 500 or Rem 870 mounted across his handlebars, the grip and fore-end color even matched the bike (yellow, IIRC). It was secured in a lockable mount and was presented as a legal way to transport. I checked and couldn't find the picture, but I bet he got alot of looks for that setup.

Nice set-up! Looks like a fresh build.Spotless. Like to see the rest of the ride.Did you build it ? Is this yours or did you see it somewhere?

By the looks of the background and it's too clean to be ridden look .I would bet 0 mile show bike those solid copper oil lines and flair fittings at the oil tank would not make the end of the block.POSER doubt the gun is real either. See the tent pole and ropes in the background.Been in the bike biz 30 + .Looks cool . but draws too much attention. hate to leave the bar and give a LEO. a reason to spoil my ride. Could hardy blame the officer. under cover trumps show off for everyday commute

It's my understanding from a friend in SD that carrying in that manner would be illegal in SD...
