I'm looking to protect my project as I transport from home to range. Looking for a well built soft case (Discreet). Would like to be able to transport up to two scoped AR's. I figure 40" or more in length (L/R) and at least 12" deep (F/B), thickness ? guessing at least 3-4" . Hard Nylon exterior would work too. I can't afford any of the Pelican style cases right now. The soft case I have now(36"x10"x2-2.5")sucks and is ripping apart. Whatever I get needs to be durable; materials that last and zippers that don't fail. Help.

You may also look at your local Goodwill store. I found a golf bag for like 8.99. could make a good discreet bag for you. just an option

Ever consider building a case yourself out of 'natural' materials? Think about it. That's what was used for years and years instead of plastics and poly compounds. Once you form it, they don't hardly wear out and they can be colored and made to look pretty darn discrete, unless you're using zebra or leopard skins...

Seriously, look at the responses above. The guys at Midway can probably help you find what you need without breaking the bank.
