Hello, new here, wanting to pick up a medium range super accurate rifle, decided on .308 for a few reasons, possibly will get a .338 lapua in the future if I want to go way out. Looking at mcmillan, ai/aw maybe the ae, I like the package mcmillan comes with on their site, going to try to put it together within the next months or so. For a backround I grew up with guns, did 4years army as a scout, just applied for my ccw, have a couple rugers, an h&k usp elite, glock 17, cz 20ga,cz453 american with leupold scope, a walther, a mauser and that's about it for now.

i feel like you could piece together a gun that might fit your needs better for less money. you could do it over time so its not as big a stress on your wallet too. this is what im doing.
if that package is exactly what you want and you can afford it, then go ahead.

? ok Boltripper, thanks jackh, looked at a savage 10bas in 308 and 338 and a armalite sass today along with some ar 30's was hoping someone in my area had a ai in stock. I could buy a few of those for the same price, been reading up around here.

Can't go wrong with any of those rifle makes. All of them are exceedingly expensive and you could get equivalent custom for quite a bit less. Your money though. Accuracy is all about barrels and bullets. You don't need to spend a fortune to get a "super-accurate" rifle.

Thanks again, saw a trg22 at a local shop looked pretty good and there is an ai in the sale forum thats a good price and is a folder. I like the trg's price lol your right about these prices.

Had myself at my local shop and it is a trg 42 lol, that's what i get for looking at to many guns in one day to remember.
