So I FINALLY get internet at the house via Charter Cable. Only it's slow as piss, even though it's "supposedly" the second fastest package...

Is there any way to tell how fast it is, to see if it's jiving with their claimed numbers?

.41Mbps.... A far cry from the 16Mbps they claim.


They'll be coming out here to pick all their shit up tomorrow if they don't fix this. I went without cable for 3 years up until now, I don't need their shit.

J you might want to call them and find out what's going on. You might just need to reboot your modem.

I've had Charter cable since it was first available in this area. That's about 10 or 11 years. If you call them they can talk you through rooting out the trouble and help you get it fixed. 1-866-472-2200

according to that test, we get 10.5Mpbs download, and 9.9Mpbs upload from here to Nor-Cal.
I got a killer package here with the electric company of all places. Fiber Optic cable, net, power all in one package. Makes for a sweet, easy deal and one less bill

They had me on the wrong package, my junk is like 19Mbps now. Lovin' it....
