Anyone else get sick of that blue screen with the flower?
I did, got a sailboat at sunset now...
If you are completely computer illiterate just google windows 7 login background changer and there's a few free programs out there that will do it.
Otherwise run regedit:
Go here:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System
Right click on System, NEW-DWORD Value:
UseOEMBackground
Now change the value to 1.
Create a jpeg named backgroundDefault.jpg
It has to be 256kb in size, so increase the compression on your editing software...
Browse to:
C:\Windows\System32\oobe
Create a folder named "info".
Now browse there and create one called "backgrounds".
Drop that jpeg in and voila.
That's how Dell and all of the big name put their logo on the computer, you can also change it if you have dell/hp/compaq etc .
This is much better than the blue M$ screen:
But this actually came from a Windows 7 Theme...
