Re: OTOA Invitational LE Sniper Competition

OTOA would like to formally thank Tom Sarver for the fine support of the OTOA Sniper Challenge this year. Without his worldclass facility there would not have been an event.

Top Honors went to the Euclid PD Sniper Team of Carpenter and Royce at this year's event.

2nd to 5th place rounded out with Medina Co SWAT, Metro SWAT, Hamilton PD, and WEB SWAT teams accordingly.

We took the troops out of their run of the mill training and forced them to perform and learn something along the way. Shooting at the longer distances opened some eyes and gave them a greater appreciation for what they should be able to do.

Next year will be tougher and more teams will step up to see how good they think they are. Special thanks to the supporters, Eberlestock LLC, 5.11 Tactical, Leupold, Revision Eyewear, OTIS, Benchmade Knives, Justin Van Steen, and Pat Fiorilli plus the Metro SWAT Snipers that assisted with the event.
