Just curious if any others out there watch Have Gun Will Travel on MeTV on Saturdays. Today was a great one about some sheriff who brought 5 books back from Philadelphia and tried to ram codes and laws from Philly down the townspeople's throats. Among those rules were to be disarmed. Paladin pointed out that disarming the populace would lead to gangs and other malcontents coming into the town, just like the 2 that had almost killed the sheriff were it not for Paladin and his trusty Derringer (and who wouldn't want to shoot as well has Paladin can with a Derringer!!!).
This is probably my favorite show on Saturdays with Trackdown always good as a warm-up to HGWT. It amazes me how the story-line is always highly moral and just and tells the story of law and order. My how times have changed since the late 50s/60's in regards to TV show quality. Granted, Trackdown is based on Texas Ranger cases.
